The 5 star award winning Nairobi Villa Rosa Kempinski held an Annual Media Appreciation Dinner at the Presidential Suite on Friday, 6th December 2019. It was a great honor and privilege being invited for an exclusive media appreciation dinner together with 30 Media Personalities at the Presidential Suite, thanks to the Kempinski General Manager, Roberto Simone and Marketing Manager, Kithure Mwingirwa.
Kempinski made a grand impression on me that night with impeccable personal service at the Presidential Suite, excellent food, and superb hospitality from the Management and Culinary team. It was also a great platform to connect with some brilliant minds in the Kenyan Media Industry.
On arrival, we entered the Presidential Suite’s meet and greet lounge with some light refreshments.
Everyone in the room was looking dashing in elegant Business attire.
Shortly after everyone had arrived, we were ushered into the lavish dining room of the presidential suite.
The dining room was dominated by round dining tables draped in white premium tablecloth matching with the elegantly draped chairs. The tables were set with wine glasses and finely folded table napkins with a bouquet of red roses centrally placed on each table. Infusing a contemporary luxury dining room that conveyed a sumptuous feeling of opulence and class.
I sat between the General Manager of Kempinski, Roberto Simone and Mansur Jiwani of Goplaces Kenya.
The Dj played some soul music to match the graceful ambience.
Kithure welcomed us all with a cheerful heartwarming speech.
And an opportunity to introduce ourselves; Kempinski Staff, Media Editors and Personalities from Business Daily, The Star, The Standard, Go Places, Management Magazine, Ndege Magazine, Nairobi News, Couture Magazine, Radio Africa Group, Marketing Africa, People Magazine, Yummy Magazine and Redhouse Public Relations. I was privileged to be invited as a Freelancer.
Shortly after the brief introduction, we enjoyed an exquisite culinary experience, indulging in an exclusive opulent embellished buffet prepared by the Executive Chef, Manoj Aswal and his creative culinary team, specially for us.
There was a diverse food options appealing to our eyes, palates and definitely Instagram Feed. From starters to dessert, was a heavenly spread of delectable specialties ranging from different options of Japanese Sushi, Italian, African, Western and Mediterranean Cuisine and assortment of cheese, salads, sauces, meat and desserts.
We went for two to three rounds of food savorings serving ourselves small healthy portions of the epicurean delights as we networked.
The Buffet Dessert was eye candy, tickling my sweet tooth.
The chocolate cigar was the signature dessert, specially made to perfection by the Chefs.
It was amusing! Thanks to the Management of Kempinski for giving us a uniquely exquisite memorable dining experience at the Presidential Suite. 🥂
